Front lighting is used for general purpose machine vision and robotic lighting applications, typically with a moderate to large field of view. Working distances can range from a few inches to several feet. 

Several front lights placed in strategic locations can be used to minimize shading or to realize the overall desired lighting affect.

Metaphase front lights are designed for rugged factory environments, to provide years of service with little maintenance.
