Diffuse DOME & Coaxial DOME Lights

Diffused Dome Lighting is ideal for inspection of reflective, specular, rough or topographic surfaces. This type of lighting uses internal reflections within a hemispherical dome to provide a “cloudy day” diffuse light source.  

 

Optical grade cloudy-day reflector coating returns 99.9% of light for optimum diffused output.

Current dome lights range in size from 1.4 inches (36mm) to 44 inches (1106mm) ID.

 

The CODL light combines a coaxial light with a circular dome, to enhance center-field uniformity and coverage.

Metaphase Diffuse Dome illuminators provide intense, evenly diffused “cloudy-day” illumination, ideal for shiny reflective surfaces or objects.

Metaphase Diffused Tube lights have optical grade reflector coating that returns 99.9% of light for optimum diffused output.

The MetaBright™ Hexagonal Light is a custom space-saving configuration Flat Dome Omni Light. Heaxgonal shape accomodates circular field of view.

TX Series Flat Dome

The TX Series of Flat Domes provides an efficient compact solution for  applications requiring diffuse illumination in a compact package for applications with space constraints.

DIFFUSE COAXIAL

Metaphase Diffused Axial Lights use beam-splitter technology to radiate homogenous, coaxial illumination, providing the ultimate solution for shiny specular surfaces.

COAXIAL DOME (CODL)

Using the coaxial light with a dome light allows for complete, uniform, and diffused lighting by filling the void created by the dome’s camera viewing port.
