Basler ace 2 X UV cameras operate in the ultraviolet (UV) spectral range. Similar to the Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) range, many materials have different optical properties here than in the visible range. This predestines the technology for special applications beyond the visible wavelengths.

uUltraviolet cameras let you see subtle hidden features that are not viosible in the standard human visible band.. This enables many unique applications, including sorting plastics, wafer surface inspection, solar cell inspection, and inspecting security features.

UV Imaging enables enhanced detection of features or defects ini applications such as Wafer Inspection, Material Sorting, Anti-Forgery, and subtle cracks in Solar Cell Arrays.
